Our Tour:

DAY 01.- At 5:30 a.m., we depart from Palenque for the Lacandon Jungle. Breakfast is included en route. We will visit the Bonampak archaeological site (one hour), where we will see the painted walls, a masterpiece of Mayan art. We will then travel to Frontera Corozal. We will take a boat along the Usumacinta River to Yaxchilán (one hour). We will visit this Mayan city immersed in the Chiapas jungle, with its monumental temples and stelae with writing and iconography. (2 hours and 30 minutes of visit). We will return to Frontera Corozal. Lunch is included. We will continue to the Lacandon community of Lacan-ha. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore the site at a convenient time. Dinner is included, and we will spend the night in rustic cabins.

DAY 02.- After breakfast, at 08:30 am the walk begins along the Lacandon jungle trail led by a Lacandon inhabitant (4 hours walk) visit of the river where there is free time to bathe and rest, return to the camp food included and around 5:00 pm we board the transportation and continue to Palenque.
