Our Tour:

DÍA 01.- RECORRIDO POR LA CIUDAD: Recepción en el aeropuerto para el vuelo o la terminal de autobuses de la mañana. A continuación, daremos un paseo por el centro histórico para admirar el colorido y la arquitectura de esta hermosa ciudad. Visitaremos la Iglesia de Santo Domingo, el museo regional donde se exhibe el tesoro de Monte Albán, los mercados Benito Juárez y 20 de Noviembre, la catedral y el palacio de gobierno. Almuerzo no incluido.

DÍA 02.- EXCURSIÓN A MONTE ALBÁN Y PUEBLOS INDÍGENAS. A las 08:00 h, salida para visitar Monte Albán y admirar sus edificios, palacios, juego de pelota, estelas, dinteles y museo de sitio. Visita a Arrazola, lugar donde se elaboran los fantásticos alebrijes. Visita al Exconvento de Cuilápam de Guerrero ( comida oaxaqueña incluida ). Visita a San Bartolo Coyotepec, donde se elabora cerámica de barro negro. Regreso a Oaxaca.

DÍA 03.- EXCURSIÓN A LA TIERRA MIXTECA, LA RUTA DOMINICANA. Este día descubrirá los tesoros ocultos en el territorio de la cultura mixteca, donde conocerá las costumbres y la vida cotidiana de los habitantes de este lugar poco visitado por turistas. Contemplará la majestuosidad de la arquitectura y el arte sacro de los exconventos dominicos que contrastan con los colores rojo, verde y azul de las montañas oaxaqueñas. Visitaremos Yanhuitlán, San Pedro y San Pablo, Teposcolula y Coixtlahuaca. Almuerzo incluido . Regresaremos a Oaxaca visitando Etla.

DÍA 04.- EXCURSIÓN A EL TULE, MITLA Y HIERVE EL AGUA: A las 07:00 h. Salida hacia Santa María el Tule para contemplar el árbol más ancho del mundo. Visita a Teotitlán del Valle para presenciar la elaboración de tapices de lana de Mitla con rica ornamentación geométrica y simbolismo sagrado. Visita a Hierve el Agua, una cascada petrificada en medio de un imponente paisaje. Almuerzo incluido. Continuación a Tehuantepec con visita a una fábrica de mezcal. Alojamiento en el hotel. (En servicios compartidos, el traslado de Oaxaca a San Cristóbal de las Casas se realiza en autobús público de ADO u OCC a las 20:00 h).

DAY 05.- At 06:00 hrs. Departure to Tuxtla Gutiérrez with breakfast on the way, arrival at Cahuaré to take a motor boat and sail inside the Sumidero canyon and see its high limestone walls, flora and fauna. We continue to Chiapa de Corzo to see the historic center and the colonial fountain, lunch included and transfer to San Cristóbal de las Casas, accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 06.- At 08:00 hrs. Walking tour of the city to see the Cerrillo neighborhood, the colorful market, Santo Domingo church, ecclesiastical corridor, the cathedral, Arco del Carmen, continuing to the Mayan communities of Chamula and Zinacantán to see their customs and rituals, cosmogony, religious syncretism, we visit a family of artisans, Return to San Cristóbal, lunch not included and rest of the afternoon free.

DAY 07.- At 08:00 hrs. departure from the hotel to Montebello to see 5 of the main colorful lakes within the pine forests, time for an optional boat ride, lunch included, visit to the Chiflón waterfalls where we will take a walk to see the pools of blue waters and the bridal veil, return to San Cristóbal visiting Amatnango del Valle, the town of the pottery women.

DAY 08.- At 4:30:00 a.m. Departure to Ocosingo with breakfast included on route, visit to the Mayan city of Toniná, see the highest temple in Mesoamerica and then go to the Agua Azul Waterfalls, time to take a tour and appreciate nature, lunch included, visit to the Misol-ha waterfall, arrival to Palenque and accommodation in cabins at the Yaxkin ecotourism center, in a natural environment of jungle, countryside and natural pools, dinner not included.

DAY 09.- At 05:00 hrs. Departure to the Lacandon jungle, breakfast included on route, visit to Bonampak, where we will see the mural paintings, continue to Corozal to take a motorboat to visit Yaxchilan, a Mayan city immersed in the jungle where we will find its beautiful temples, lintels and steles with hieroglyphic writing, ball game, lunch included and return to Palenque.

DAY 10.- At 08:00 hrs. Visit to the archaeological zone of Palenque where we will see the royal tombs, the temple of inscriptions, the palace, the temple of the sun, the temple of agriculture, the temple of the cross, the ball court, the northern group, the site museum (closed on Mondays). Lunch included and transfer to the Villahermosa airport or bus terminal. End of services. (In shared services, the transfer from Palenque to Villa hermosa airport is done in public bus ADO or OCC or taxi-vans at conveniant time)
